Those of you who know me well, know that I’m a book nerd. Well, I’m a nerd in general. But I’m a nerd who has a particular affinity for reading, and when I find a great book, I just have to share!
Since I started my own business over a year and a half ago, my ‘favorites’ list has been comprised of primarily biographies of entrepreneurs and companies I admire, a smattering of fiction novels (for when I need to just get away from my own brain for a bit), along with some business strategy books I find particularly compelling. I absolutely don’t think you need to be an entrepreneur to enjoy any of these books. They’re all fantastic and interesting in their own right, and thousands of other reviewers will agree. So whether you’re listening in your car, or cuddled up on a beach somewhere in a lounger, I think you’ll find these to be page-turners.
Lately I’ve been a huge fan of Audible and listening to books in my car. For the sales side of my business I travel quite a bit by car, and since I never have time to read at night as much as I’d like to, I opt to listen to audio books. It really started with the 2016 Presidential Election – I used to listen to NPR all the time, but it was non-stop coverage of the election for MONTHS, and regardless of political affiliation, I just got tired of listening to it. So I switched over to books on tape, and I’ve been hooked ever since. If you have any questions about #Audible, please feel free to ask!
