Monday afternoon the kiddos were SO excited to get an Easter card in the mail from their Great Grandma Larsen! They’re pop-up style cards, and the kids adored them. (We probably got these sometime Easter weekend, but we had so much going on, I forgot to check the mail!)
On Tuesday, Daddy and Jacob were trying to give mommy a heart attack by throwing things 1) inside the house and 2) next to the TV.
Gigi got home from dance, and promptly put on her bunny ears. #fashionstatement
On Wednesday, the kids took showers and Gigi came to hang out with me for a bit while I waited for dinner to finish in the oven.
I watched the kiddos take turns making me masterful art pieces.
Thursday evening was beautiful, and Jacob tricked daddy into pushing him on the swing!
Friday morning I had to laugh, because Gigi wasn’t moving very quickly. Her face kind of says how I feel in the morning, too!
OMG THIS POPPED UP ON MY PHONE! We’re going on a Baughman Family Vacation in less than a month!
Saturday morning a trip to Target was in order, and the kids got to buy a few things with the dollars they’d earned. I stopped in the sunglass section to check out their selection before the cruise. Gigi put these on and said, “Mommy! I look like Harry Potter!” I just about died laughing. #parentingwin
Jacob and all the choices.
I finally also bought a dry erase calendar for our fridge, because it helps me and the kiddos know what we have going on when. May is a crazy month!
When we got home, we found this little baby bunny waiting for us at the front door. I ultimately had to put it in a shoebox and transport it to the forest across the street because he wouldn’t leave (and it was everything I could do to get my kids to not go outside and pick up the bunny to play with it).
I continued my cleaning adventures, and stumbled across my old iPhone 1 – look at how tiny it is!
And I had my awesome car cleaning service come clean the cars! #multitasking
Somehow, in all of my cleaning efforts (I was just in one of those moods), the kids decided to help! So they got out wipes and started to help ‘clean’ everything. And this is where I’ve had to learn to be a ‘yes’ mom – because even if they’re not doing things the way I’d do them, at least they’re trying to help!
They’re even disinfecting all of Jacob’s cars with Clorox wipes!
And we ended our week on a very CLEAN note! Have a great week, y’all!
