We started our Easter Sunday morning at church with Mark’s family!
I brought a LOT of entertainment for the kiddos to make it through the hour quietly. We played tic tac toe (Jacob only plays the ‘Jacob wins’ version of this game)…

And then Jacob found an extra pair of sunglasses in my bag…
After church, we headed to Easter Brunch at the Country Club. I got the WORLD’S SWEETEST PHOTO of my kiddos!
Easter with the Cousins!
Here was our one semi-decent (i.e., most people looking at the camera) picture of the cousins with Grandma and Grandpa…
Although this one more accurately portrays how that picture-taking really went…
Happy Easter from the Baughman Family!
I got one good picture with my little snuggle monster. <3
Gigi and Grandpa!
After brunch we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, because we had it on good authority that the Easter Bunny had gone over there to hide eggs. The kids sat down for a minute (to give the bunny time to hide the eggs so they didn’t melt in the sun during church) to take inventory of what the bunny had brought.
My sweet little bunny girl!
This is my one obligatory “You have to stand with your cousins and take a picture for me or you can’t go hunt easter eggs” picture. I usually get cooperation on that one!
Then we released them to the wild! They went nuts hunting eggs for about ten minutes. The Easter Bunny is going to have to start being a little more sneaky now that the kids are getting older. And they’re off!
I asked Jacob to take a picture with his basket, and this is all he would give me.
Gigi, on the other hand, always strikes a pose.
When we determined we’d found all the eggs, the kids went straight inside to start opening eggs and seeing if they’d hit the jackpot.
Gigi is so happy! (And gosh I love that she’s wearing those bunny ears!)
Jacob got quite a haul this year!
Soon after he counted his eggs, Jacob set to work on putting together his new Lego set.
He consulted with Uncle Shawn, of course. (He adores his Uncle Shawn!)
Soon it was time to head home, and it didn’t take long before both of my little bunnies were passed out cold.
Happy Easter, Everyone! <3
