OneHydraulics is growing! We’re super excited to announce the latest awesome addition to our OneHydraulics family, Timothy Richards! I know he’s going to be fantastic and I couldn’t be happier that he’s joined our team.
Monday night, Gigi was showing off her awesome reading skills. She’s learned so much this past year and I’m so proud of her!
Tuesday at the office was all about hydraulic crimper training for OneHydraulics. Now that we have an awesome new crimper, it was time to get formal training in cutting, crimping, and cleaning hose!
Tuesday afternoon I received these pictures from Gigi’s school for kindergarten graduation. Seriously, just take my money. I want them all. Also, these pictures make me want to cry. Where did my baby go? (And I love that she won’t smile all the way because she’s shy about her front two teeth being gone.)
Sigh. Such a big girl.
Thursday night, mommy wasn’t up to making dinner so I phoned it in and we went to Casa Ole. The kids LOVE to go out to eat!
When we got home, the kids wanted popcorn and a movie (how do they eat so much??) so I let them help me pop some popcorn. Ignore my naked son, he’s decided that big boys don’t sleep in pajamas, only underwear, so that’s the phase we’re in now.
Saturday morning we made our annual Resurrection Rolls! Every year my kids LOVE making resurrection rolls. Check out last year’s post for the recipe! And yes, that’s a whole stack of Hotwheels which we obviously required to be on the table whilst making said Resurrection Rolls.
After we ate breakfast and got dressed, Mark and I had a few errands to run. So I dropped the boys off at Home Depot…
And Gigi and I went to Target! (But first, Starbucks)
After we got home, the Staudachers came over to play!
Mark took the kiddos swimming at a neighbor’s house so I could be stealthy and get the kid’s Easter Basket goodies ready. A little while later, Gigi came into our house bawling because… she lost another tooth! Unfortunately, she swallowed this one, so she was devastated that the Tooth Fairy wouldn’t come.
I assured her that the Tooth Fairy would absolutely come, as long as we wrote her a letter and told her what happened. So Gigi got to work! Y’all, this note. I just love this note.
Everything was good again once the note was under the pillow and she had confidence that things would be okay. (But seriously guys, how is this kid going to have any teeth left to eat with at this rate?)
Once everything was kosher, we went back to Jill and Blake’s house to swim again. They have a dog, and Jacob is in love. This boy needs a puppy. Mark and I disagree on this issue. 🙂 I don’t have the time to take care of a dog right now, but maybe when the kids are a bit older and self sufficient. Mark isn’t a dog person (I’m not sure I can trust him, since he’s not a dog person, right?)
Gigi adores dogs too!
The sun started setting so we ended our evening with a big egg coloring party on the deck by the lake!
The kids were very intense about their creations.
My little lovebugs!
Here’s Jacob with his best friend!
When we got home, the kids were eager to go to bed for once because the Easter Bunny was on his way! The Easter Bunny’s visit is usually a great excuse for the kids to get the items they usually need for the spring/summer anyway. 🙂
Stay tuned for our Easter Shinanigans in Part 2!
